After testing out the concept as a ghost kitchen, the team behind Cane Rosso and Zoli’s have given their Detroit-style pizza its own home in East Dallas. The square pies have crisp and chewy focaccia-like crusts and edges trimmed with crunchy caramelized cheese. Fried artichoke hearts served with cherry pepper aioli make a good starter, and the Blind Pig pizza boasts sausage crumbles, caramelized onions, banana peppers, and vodka sauce. For dessert, get a soft serve ice cream “Stacker” (parfait-like sundae) from Cow Tipping Creamery, which shares space with Thunderbird.
