This tiny sushi bar (sans tables) attracts a trendy set seeking a casual bite amid upbeat tunes. Expect a concise menu of hand rolls, crudo and sashimi. The four-bite rolls are wrapped with slightly crispy nori and stuffed with warm sushi rice and ingredients that range from luxe king salmon to a perplexing shiitake “pâté.” Surprisingly, the least expensive hand roll—avocado with cucumber and sprouts—was our favorite (we ordered three!). Another highlight was the maguro crudo. Swimming in tangy-sweet ponzu, the bluefin tuna was finished with a magical chile crisp.
