An airy space with plush booths and a romantic vibe makes this charming spot a perfect choice for date night, girls’ night, or weekend meetups at the gleaming bar. And the chic patio with woven bistro chairs and striped umbrellas feels positively Parisian. The eclectic menu starts with raw bar favorites, such as oysters and tuna tartare. We enjoyed snapper crudo with thin slices of fresh snapper wedged between pinwheels of sweet cantaloupe in a spicy habanero broth dotted with scallion oil. The generous Caesar salad features crisp gem lettuce topped with roasted green olives and salty white anchovies, lightly dressed and sprinkled with finely grated aged Parmesan. From eighteen enticing share plate choices, we thoroughly enjoyed tender lamb ribs glazed in sticky sherry honey, topped with duqqa (warmly spiced seeds and nuts); and lush lobster burrata, the soft and creamy cheese encircled with butter-poached lobster bites, grilled peach wedges, and sweet, marinated cherry tomatoes with Fresno chile slices for vivid color and a spicy bite. We loved the pace of shareable plates and could easily make a whole meal out of them. Entrées included the brasserie burger, roasted chicken, and pork Milanese; we enjoyed the loveliest crispy-skin Gulf snapper, pan-sautéed and oven-finished, atop stone-ground heirloom grits, all crowned in baby mustard greens with a side swath of velvety Creole sauce with button-size hon shimeji mushrooms.
