You said you were hungry? Sunday brunch at Tony G’s is right on the mark. There’s a lively crowd: old and young, post-church and pre-game, big and little, and, yes, all hungry. There’s also live music, and it’s fantastic. And then there’s the buffet: boiled shrimp, fried chicken wings with cake-textured waffles (caramelized sugar baked in), smoky collard greens, smothered chicken, mac and cheese, plus a carving station (our Sunday visit featured a fall-off-the-bone pork roast) and a bounty of desserts. A fabulously attentive waitstaff revives all with endless cups of coffee and glasses of requisite sweet tea.
