A disturbance ensued after woman put a fish in victim’s face. Lufkin Police are investigating an alleged assault involving two women, a man and a fish. Two women were “playing around” when one woman put a fish in the other woman’s face around 2 a.m. Sunday.
 
Two neighbors got into an argument Tuesday night after one neighbor shot the other’s dog because the dog was attacking their goats in the 4000 block of Cheeseland Road.

 
Someone reported stepping in a hole and breaking his ankle after walking away from an assault late Tuesday.
 
Three women dressed like men went into the Dollar General on Atkinson Drive and stuffed a pink purse with alcohol, electronics and clothing.
 
An argument between a Huntington woman and two men over a cell phone early Tuesday morning ended with a machete attack followed by sweet potatoes being thrown at the woman’s home on Ben Williams Road. 
 
A man reported being “disturbed while trying to watch TV” by a young woman talking and texting on her cell phone around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.
 
A Lufkin beauty school student is claiming she was holding a bottle of PCP “for a friend” after instructors found it stored in the school refrigerator earlier this week. 
 
A door was reportedly cracked when someone knocked on it too hard.
 
Someone reported being bitten on the ear by an 8-week-old mixed breed puppy.
 
Two homeless men were arrested early Monday morning after a dog walker in Kiwanis reported that one of them was “yelling, urinating everywhere and seemed intoxicated.” When officers arrived at the park around 2:20 a.m., they found the men, ages 37 and 51, asleep at the gazebo. One of the men reportedly had a case of beer and an open can sitting next to him.
 
A man reported that his ex-wife’s new boyfriend keeps texting him. 
 
A woman called the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office to report that her sons, ages 49 and 45, argue all the time. 
 
The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office on Friday afternoon responded to a report of an irate man shaking a rifle at people and yelling as he walked down Old Union Road near where it intersects with Mount Carmel. Angelina County Sheriff Greg Sanches said once on scene, the man had a BB gun and was using it to shoot a snake.
 
Two girls in their late teens were arrested and charged with shoplifting from several stores Friday in the Lufkin Mall. Stolen items included: Elmo panties, a women’s top, racoon, penguin and owl Ty Beanie Babies, Claire’s pink/white makeup brushes, and several Claire’s belly rings, one of which has not been recovered yet because it is still being worn. 
 
Someone allegedly tried to break into a house using an axe.
