What is included in a digital subscription?
A digital subscription provides unlimited access to all of Texas Monthly’s web-only content, including archive issues, our wealth of BBQ, food, and drink reviews, breaking news on the border, the Lege, and the other big story lines of the day, and much more. Your subscription also includes instant access to digital issues on our mobile app as well as the digital replica which gives you the digital version of the monthly print edition right to your email inbox. The digital replica is only included in your subscription if you subscribed directly through Texas Monthly– agents are not included. 

Why should I “link my subscription”?
Linking your existing subscription allows you to get full digital access to our mobile app and receive your special digital edition right to your email inbox.  This also allows you to manage your current subscription using the customer service portal. Link your account here.

Why do I need to “log in”?
The login button is in the upper right-hand corner of our website. If you have not already done so, please link your subscription to receive access to our online content.  Logging in will also allow you to change your address, renew your subscription, and see your expiration date through our subscriber portal.


Texas Monthly Mobile App and Digital Access

I recently subscribed online.  Do I have digital access?
If you have created an account and linked your subscription, you are all set! You may use your login credentials for the website, customer service portal, and our iOS and Android mobile apps. If you have forgotten your password, you may reset it here, or if don’t have an account, please register. Please note: you will not receive a password reset link email if you do not have an online account with us. If you do not receive an email within a few minutes, please go to and sign up for an account. 

I receive the print issue of the magazine. Do I have digital access?
All Texas Monthly print subscribers receive access to Only Print+Digital subscribers receive access to the mobile app as well as the digital replica edition of Texas Monthly. Link your subscription and set up an account to log in to the website.

How do I download the Texas Monthly app?
Download the Texas Monthly app now for iOS or Android, available on smartphones and tablets. Please make sure you have linked your subscription to your online account before logging in, or else you will not have access. If you are experiencing any problems with our app, please contact us at [email protected]

Can I access my digital issues on any device?
You can access your digital issues on any iOS or Android mobile device. Our digital replica edition, which is emailed to you every month, can be viewed on any browser. For more information on devices we support as well as other reading platforms, please visit our Texas Monthly mobile app page.

I’m having a problem logging in on my app.
No worries! If you are unable to log in, please try resetting your password. If you have not linked your subscription on the website, this is why you are not able to log in. Please see above for instructions on how to link. For more information on logging into our mobile apps, please visit our Texas Monthly mobile app page.

Please note that your new password will apply to your customer service portal, Texas Monthly’s mobile app, and the login.

I purchased a digital subscription through iTunes/Google Play/Kindle. Do I have access to
No, iTunes, Google Play, and Kindle subscribers do not have access to Texas Monthly’s print or online content at this time. To gain access, check out our current subscription offers.

I ordered my subscription through Amazon, how do I update my information?
If you ordered through Amazon, you can go to their subscription management site to manage your subscription there. Your information needs to be updated with them, or it may not be updated on our side.


Account and Subscription Questions

How do I manage my Texas Monthly subscription?
Once you have linked your subscription through our customer service portal, you can log in to manage your subscription. Accessing your customer service portal allows you to change your mailing address, see your active subscription, and edit your account preferences. Please allow 3 to 5 business days to see changes in your account.

When should I expect my magazine delivery?
Immediate digital access is available online and through our iOS and Android apps. Your digital replica edition will be delivered to your email inbox every month before the issue is even out! For instructions on accessing your digital issue, please visit our mobile app page.

For print subscriptions, please allow approximately 4 to 6 weeks for your first issue to arrive. 

How do I update my mailing address for my print subscription?
You can view and update all of your contact information in your Texas Monthly customer service portal. If you would like to change your address, select the “change address” tab to update your mailing address. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for your address change to take effect. Or, you may email us with the subject line “Change of Address” at [email protected]. Please be sure to send us your full name, old mailing address, and your updated mailing address along with your account number if you have it.

When does my subscription expire?
To find out when your subscription expires, please log in to your Texas Monthly customer service portal. In your customer dashboard, you will see your current active subscription as well as the month that your subscription expires. If you do not see your active subscription when logging in, please email us at [email protected]. Please provide us with your email, full name, and mailing address.  

If you receive the print magazine, your last issue will be listed on the mailing label. 

My subscription account does not appear when I log in to the customer service portal. What do I do?
Your subscription account may not be properly linked to your online profile. Please contact us at [email protected] and provide your email, full name, and mailing address so we may correct the issue. If you have recently changed your mailing address, please provide us with your old address as well.

I am unable to log in to the customer service portal. How do I reset the password?
If you know you have an online account, you can try resetting your password by providing the email address associated with your online profile. (If you do not have an online account, please register for one now). Once you receive the password recovery email, please click the link and follow instructions to reset your password. If you are still unable to login, please contact us at [email protected].  

One of my issues did not arrive. How can I request another?
Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for each issue to arrive. Please note that out-of-state subscriptions can take an extra week to arrive. If your print issue still has not arrived, please email us at [email protected]. Please be sure to include your full name,  mailing address, and issue request.

We also recommend confirming your mailing address through your Texas Monthly customer service portal or by calling us at 1-800-759-2000 (U.S. only).

My magazine arrived damaged. How do I request a replacement?
Oof—we’re sorry about that! Please email us at [email protected] with your full name, mailing address, and issue request, and we’ll happily send you a magazine replacement.

I would like to purchase a Texas Monthly back issue. How can I do so?

What is the cancellation and refund policy?
We hope you do not cancel, but if you do, we are happy to refund you for any unmailed issues of your paid subscription. Please call us at 1-800-759-2000 (U.S. only) or email us to cancel. TM BBQ Club 

What do I need to do to access my exclusive benefits?
If you are logged into your account and your subscription is linked, you will have access to the TM BBQ Club exclusive content automatically. Go to the BBQ tab on the website to check out what is new! If your TM BBQ Club subscription is not linked to your online account, please log in and click “Link My Subscription” under “My Account” in the top right hand corner. Once you have confirmed your subscription, you will see your exclusive TM BBQ Club content.

How do I give TM BBQ Club as a gift?

When will I get my welcome package?
You will receive your welcome package within 4-6 weeks of purchasing your TM BBQ Club membership.

When will my subscription start?
Your digital access starts immediately! If you did not create a password at checkout, please go to and finish creating your account. Your print issue will be arriving in the mail 4-6 weeks from your purchase date.

What if I was a member of TM BBQ Club before the new club launched? Do I get all the new benefits?
Yes- you were grandfathered into the new club for the remaining time in your current membership! That means all the new benefits are now yours as well! However, you do not receive the new welcome package until you renew.

Can I give the welcome package as a gift to someone and keep the subscription for myself?
Subscriptions are non-deductible from the membership fee. All TM BBQ Club membership benefits will be sent to the member. You are welcome to give the whole TM BBQ Club package as a gift, or purchase a subscription for yourself to the magazine.

Why did the pricing of the TM BBQ Club go up?
We have revamped the TM BBQ Club to create a better experience for our members, including many more benefits. See a list of all the great things this new TM BBQ Club offers here. If you are a current TM BBQ Club member, you will be grandfathered into all of the annual benefits at no additional cost. When your current year is up, you can renew at the new price and receive the new welcome package at that time.

Why are US only orders allowed?
The TM BBQ Club membership pricing does not include shipping costs for the welcome package to be sent to countries outside of the US.

What if I am already a Texas Monthly subscriber?
The Texas Monthly subscription is nondeductible from the membership fee. We will cancel your current subscription and you will receive a refund for all unmailed issues (including if you have 2 or more years of a subscription). You will then start a new 12 issue Texas Monthly subscription that lines up with your membership.

Is there other BBQ Merchandise?
We will have pop-up BBQ merchandise sales throughout the year, which TM BBQ Club Members will be the first to know about!
