I’m pretty sure I met this gentleman one evening several years ago at The Boathouse (no longer open) in Terlingua. He was talking about his plans to open the BBQ business. Seems like he even had some koozies he was handing out. Good luck to you. Hope your place is open and doing well on my next visit out there.

We have eaten at the Rustic Iron the past two summers on vacation. The food is great. My son loves the ribs. I thought the brisket was fantastic both times we ate there. DB is very personable. He came out and talked with us and took pictures with the family. We look forward to eating there again this summer!!
