For Bryan old-timers, restaurant and bar patrons crowding the sidewalks of a previously dead downtown is a sight to behold. Nowhere is this downtown revival more evident than on a short stretch of West 26th Street, where Rx Pizza occupies a corner building that was formerly a pharmacy. For the noise-averse, the outdoor tables are the perfect spot to enjoy deliciously thin, smoky brick-oven pizza. Most of the signature pies skip the tomato base and thick layer of cheese and instead focus on minimal mozzarella and fresh toppings, like garlic cloves, rosemary, pesto, and blue cheese. Our Sith Lord featured blackened chicken, spicy Italian sausage, and chile oil (cowardly, we omitted the jalapeños). If you’re not near downtown, a second location can be found in College Station.
