At Addison Oktoberfest on Sep. 14 – 17, enjoy a taste of the original Bavarian celebration with a purely Texan twist. For more than 35 years, people have donned dirndls and lederhosen (or have just come as they are) for four days of revelry in German culture, food, music and bier.

Kicking off the same weekend as its namesake festival in Munich, Addison Oktoberfest festival attendees can take part in fun bier games and attractions. Test your strength during our stein holding competition or gather your gang to cheer you on during bier barrel rolling and stein maiden carrying. Dance the night away in the PartyHalle with polka bands taking the stage all through the night.

Be sure to bring your appetite to indulge in traditional German cuisine like bratwurst, spatzel, and much more! The reimagined Daschund Dash is bigger than ever and has moved to the Partyhalle so bring yourself–and your hund–to the big tent to cheer the tiny racers on Sunday afternoon! Free to participate, but advanced online registration is required.
