TX Whiskey’s original distillery was located in downtown Fort Worth where their first expression, TX Blended Whiskey, originated in 2012. The expression was an immediate success winning both “Double Gold” and “Best American Craft Whiskey” at the San Francisco World Spirits competition that very year. The new, enhanced brand home at Whiskey Ranch allowed the brand to increase production of the award-winning TX Blended Whiskey and TX Straight Bourbon, keeping with the same quality and Texan craftsmanship that TX Whiskey began their story with.
This whiskey wonderland was carefully planned and designed by TX Whiskey’s founders, where the brand’s attention to detail is visible in every corner of this one-of-a-kind distillery. Keeping with the signature design motif of rugged elegance, guests will find an abundance of design elements such as reclaimed wood, metal and both classic and modern Texan details that preserve the rich legacy and celebrated golf icons that once walked the grounds.
Sticking with true Texan authenticity, TX Whiskey sources all their grains from a single fourth generation farm in Hillsboro, Texas— Sawyer Farms. Another nod to Texan culture is their proprietary yeast strain that was found on a pecan shell by the Brazos River – no small thing that a nut from the state tree plays a key role in the whiskey!
TX Whiskey’s commitment to craftsmanship is exemplified through their one-of-a-kind, handmade bottle caps using repurposed leather donated by community partners. Exotic skins in varying colors have become big collector items from TX Whiskey brand lovers – each one unique and customizable!
