Chapelton Vineyards is a family-owned and operated winery in the historic town of Washington, Texas. Opened in 2022 by Houstonians Kurt and Michelle Lyn, Chapelton Vineyards spans 75 acres with 14 acres dedicated to estate vines, including Blanc du Bois, Black Spanish, Merlot and Tempranillo grapes. The winery also craft wine from other Texas vineyards, California, Washington and Argentina. In addition to a two-story tasting room that overlooks the vineyard, Chapelton Vineyards is home to two custom-built, 1,500 square-foot villas available for short-term stays.
Hours of operation are Wednesday through Monday from 11 am until 6 pm. Free tours of winery production are offered on Saturdays. The property is located about an hour from Houston, 20 minutes from Brenham and 40 minutes from College Station.
