Welcome to Longview! We are the East Texas regional hub for fun. We are blue skies and fish fries. We love the Great Texas Balloon Race and Downtown Live concerts. We are outdoor adventures, big trees, parks, trails, biking and birding. We are Art Walks, Wine Swirls and Arboretum strolls. We love our symphony, museums and live theatre. We are Longview, Texas. Come enjoy The View, we have lots to do.

Conveniently located off of I20, and only 125 miles East of Dallas and 65 miles West of Shreveport, LA. The Longview Convention Complex sits adjacent to the beautiful and relaxing Longview Arboretum and Nature Center and has easy access to Downtown Longview. The newly renovated Maude Cobb Convention Center features a 40,000-square-foot event hall, conference room, ticket booth, along with registration and pre-function areas in the lobby. Amenities include PA sound systems, mounted projectors and screens, wireless internet access, electrical plugs along the perimeter walls and interspersed across the floor, portable staging units, catering kitchen, ample restroom facilities, glassed foyer with courtyard fountain, and covered portico entry. While the Main Hall provides an open floor plan for tradeshows, concerts, weddings, banquets or trainings, the five (5) Activity Rooms and Eitleman Conference Room provide more intimate rental spaces for smaller events or breakout opportunities.

The Longview Convention Complex

Whether you’re looking for an event, working conference or special group retreat location, Longview offers a variety of venues perfect for anything from small group activities, to large conventions and sports competitions and tournaments.

After your convention, meeting or event, be sure to visit Historic Downtown Longview’s Cultural District. The heartbeat of our city and home to a vibrant local business, and arts community, the Cultural District features some of the best locally owned restaurants, retail shops, museums and performing arts centers in East Texas. Be sure to visit the beautiful hand painted murals located throughout downtown and snap the perfect selfie on top of the “Long View” hill on Center St. where it’s easy to see why Longview has become a destination for those seeking to enjoy the outdoors, entertain the family, eat at delicious, unique restaurants and host their next meeting or event.
