A man told police that he had been shot with a shotgun Saturday night, but upon further investigation, officers determined the injuries to be minor and not to have been caused by a firearm.

A man reported that a woman he doesn’t know spat on and then keyed his vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. He said she also left a note complaining that he parked too close to her vehicle.

A roll of trash bags left outside a business was reported stolen Wednesday night.

A clean car attracted one man who allegedly stole a vehicle from a car wash. The man reportedly took the car and fled police.

A case of sports drinks and a woman’s purse were reported stolen out of her vehicle overnight.

A computer was reported stolen from a backpack in a church gymnasium.

Police arrested a naked man wearing only socks and shoes on a charge of public intoxication after officers received a report of a man standing in the roadway.

A television set, vacuum cleaner, purple plate set, red pot set, five-piece knife set and a set of kitchen glasses were reported stolen from a home.

An employee reportedly detained a woman who attempted to exit a business with wrinkle and eye cream and hair regrowth treatment without paying.

A Lufkin woman was arrested Sunday morning on a warrant while visiting a friend at the Angelina County Jail. The woman was taken into custody after jail staff recognized her as someone who was wanted on a warrant for driving her vehicle into the vehicle of a woman with whom she had a problem in November.

Part of a metal roof was reported stolen Saturday afternoon from a business.
