For a half century, Texas Monthly has been telling stories by and about Texans and the unique state we inhabit. In celebration of our fiftieth anniversary, the February 2023 issue explores Texas icons of all shapes, sizes, species, and more, while telling stories of the characters, places, and institutions that have shaped the great state of Texas for the past fifty years.
Texas Monthly is also excited to announce the magazine’s new brand campaign. With the help of PlotTwist Creativity out of Dallas, an advertising campaign was developed that puts Texas Monthly‘s stories at the center. Thus, our new brand slogan “Stories for All Y’all” was born. Texas Monthly hopes that every Texan—and non-Texan, for that matter—can find a reflection of themselves in the pages of the magazine.
