1 lb. box spiral pasta
1 cup diced red bell peppers
1 cup sliced green onions
1 cup black olives
1 cup sliced artichoke hearts
1 cup toasted pecan pieces
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup Tamari (a natural form of soy sauce. It is sometimes called “shoyu.”)
1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 bunch fresh basil picked and washed
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
Boil pasta as per instructions on box with salted water. When done, drain and cool and place in a big bowl. Add all dry ingredients, except basil and garlic to pasta and stir well.
Place vinegar, tamari, and oil, plus garlic and basil in blender and blend until smooth.
Add dressing to salad and mix well.
