Deer killings

Sadly, these boys went almost totally unpunished for what they did. They were shielded from "real consequences" that should have been awarded them for their performance. If there have been not drive by shootings and gang violence in the past, the community will be seeing it in the future if they continue to choose such lame disciplinary action. This is the precedent for all future cases involving teenage violence. If they didn’t convict these boys then they can’t convict the next ones that do the same thing or worse.

WOW, Gov Sarah Palin’s entrance into the GOP was incredible, even the music to her entrance, (I love the movie Rudy). She certainly has a powerful presence and most certainly a Presidential status. How quick Obama was quick toremark and belittles small town America, Not very Patriotic. This campaign JUST GOT INTERSTING!! Did anyone expect this; nice head fake McCain…..

Your pic Hays County Commissioners Still Considering Road Bonds

posted in Politics [more from this topic] by peter_stern on Thursday, August 28, 2008 @ 13:05:44 CDT

Another error in judgment
During the current predatory economic "recession" Hays County Commissioners must NOT agree to increase the burden of local homeowners via property tax increases resulting from the approval of a $200+ Million Road Bond Package.
While theoretically there may be a time and place for an extravagant and costly property tax increase to generate bond revenue for road building and maintenance, but it is NOT now at a time when the American Dream of owning your own home has become a financial "nightmare".
